Clinical Scheduler Description
With medicine being 24/7/365, a complete and thoughtful schedule process is critical to providing continuity and the high quality care VEMA delivers. While the system is cloud based with built in automation, the human component of scheduling is paramount to success. We expect our scheduler to have personal relationships with the people who provide the care through electronic as well as direct interactions.
Job Specifics.

Create 11 different schedules per month with approximately total 35 slots per day.

Schedules will be created approximately 3 to 6 months in advance.

Solving unforeseen scheduling conflicts.

Enforces rules and scheduling policies.

Participate virtually in scheduled leadership calls.

Onsite One Day Meetings in Washington DC two to four times per year

Collaboration with VEMA leadership and clinical leadership to optimize the process

20 hours per week
Necessary Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

2 Years Experience in Medical Staffing. Prefer experience in field that is 24/7/365 (emergency medicine, hospitalists, anesthesiology)

Follows rules and fair in delivery of services

Excellent clerical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of personal computers and data entry experience with excel skills

Self Driven in a Virtual Environment

Ability to follow established parameters and make decisions based on those parameters required.
