Dr. Jeanine Miller currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Fauquier
Hospital. With more than ten years of experience as an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Miller has
worked at Fauquier and Inova Fair Oaks since joining VEMA in 2011. As an attending physician with
Emergency Medicine Associates from 2007 until 2011, Dr. Miller cared for patients in the emergency
departments at Prince William Hospital in Manassas and Heathcote Health Center in Haymarket,
Virginia.
After earning her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Dr. Miller moved to
Pittsburgh for a residency in emergency medicine at Allegheny General Hospital. She served as Chief
Resident during her final year of residency. In this capacity, Dr. Miller supervised dozens of resident
physicians, oversaw resident scheduling and educational lectures, and provided hands-on training for
her fellow residents. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, where she
earned a bachelor of science in psychology and kinesiology. Certified by the American Board of
Emergency Medicine, Dr. Miller’s professional interests include quality assurance and pre-hospital
services.
